Springbank United welcomes Carolynne Bouey Shank to ministry at our church.  Carolynne grew up in the United Church of Canada with parents in ministry.  She has been in ministry all her adult life and has been active in local congregations, presbytery, conference and General Council.  For ten years she was in Conference Program Staff ministry with the Alberta and Northwest Conference.  She completed five years of studies in diaconal ministry training with the Centre for Christian Studies in 2000.  In June 2000 she was settled to Rockyford United Church and commissioned into diaconal ministry.  She has also served at Deer park United Church in Calgary as a part-time Children and Youth minister and at St. David's as a supply minister.

Carolynne loves being with people and hearing about their lives.  Her ministry grows from there.
