“Upcoming Worship Services - Sundays, 10:30 a.m.”
March 22nd - 5th Sunday in Lent.
As we continue in the season of Lent our Scripture focus for the day will be Jeremiah 31:31-34 and John 12:20-33. Jesus refers to being glorified. What does he mean? Following worship we’ll gather for coffee, refreshments, and a social time together.
March 29th - 6th Sunday in Lent (Palm Sunday).
Join us on Palm Sunday as we unite with Christians around the world in remembrance and celebration of that first Palm Sunday and the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. Had he an inkling of what lay ahead? What happened to those waving palm branches on Good Friday? How does the story inform our understanding of life and God today?
Our focus will be Mark 11:1-11. Following worship we'll gather for coffee, refreshments, and a social time together.
April 5th - Easter Sunday Celebration Service.
Our Easter Sunday service will centre on the incredible, wondrous news of the empty tomb.
Is Easter about chocolate bunnies and egg hunts, family suppers and the wonder of Spring?
Perhaps not primarily, although I never refuse a chocolate bunny (perhaps I should).
Easter is the Church’s chance to let loose in unbridled celebration, and we certainly will! Easter lilies will adorn our sanctuary. Scripture focus: Mark 16:1-8. Following worship we'll gather for coffee, refreshments, and a social time together.

If you are interested in an open, non-judgemental, weekly time of sharing and faith development, please contact the minister, Rev. Dave Crawford to be a participant.
Maundy Thursday potluck supper and worship:
Join us at 6:00 pm, April 2nd, for a delicious potluck supper, followed at 7:30 by a special Maundy Thursday worship service with Communion (7:30 - 8:15).
Maundy Thursday, in brief, recalls the night of Jesus’ Last Supper with the disciples. At worship we reflect on the story as told in John’s Gospel.
The word “Maundy” comes from the Latin word “maundatum”, meaning a commandment or law. In John 13:34 we recall Jesus’s words: “I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.”
All are welcome to join us for this evening of fellowship and worship as we approach the joy and hope of Easter Sunday!
